Regional Sales Representative
My client, a Southwest Florida owned and operated technology company that provides electronic tracking of required aircraft maintenance has an outstanding opportunity for a customer-focused Regional Software Sales Representative. In this capacity, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and will be generating new business through consultative sales.
This opportunity offers a base salary of $40-50K
commissions and benefits.
Ideal candidates will have experience selling software and performing web demonstrations. An ability to relate to prospects within the aviation industry is a plus but not required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ability to sell and present company products and services to current and potential clients
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
Work closely and develop relationships with distributors
Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
Participate in marketing events such as trade shows, and conferences
Prepare a variety of status reports, such as; activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to specific goals
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity
Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up
Coordinate with company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidates will have experience selling software and performing web demonstrations.
An ability to relate to prospects within the aviation industry is a plus but not required (aviation sales, Air Force veterans, personal experience flying, etc)
Pleasant and outgoing personality; Customer service oriented
Must be committed, positive, and hardworking
MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) experience required
Proof of solid track record in corporate sales
Willing to travel
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal; Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
