Based out of Fort Myers, FL, this position is responsible for recruitment and initial licensure and re-licensure of foster homes, visiting foster homes, and providing training and support to foster parents.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Social Services or related field required
Experience:
Two years experience working with foster families preferred.
Prior foster home licensing experience a plus Other Requirements:
Certification as a Child Welfare Licensing Counselor by the Florida Certification Board OR must be provisionally certified with completion of PRIDE training required Valid FL driver's license required Must be able to attend a 3-day, new hire orientation class from 9:

00pm ET Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include:
Drug Screen, Physical, Physical Abilities Test, TB Test and Influenza Vaccine Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing.
Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs.

Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate's understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
